Eric studies diversity and evolution of the world’s reptiles and amphibians. His specialty is the Elapidae – coral snakes. Together, we have collaborated on several projects related to mark-recapture, systematics, species description, and character evolution. I also collaborate with his many graduate students, especially on NSF-funded research to describe the herpetofauna of the Sunda islands (Indonesia, Malaysia, etc.).
