The Fujita Lab mitochondrial genome and action movie expert, Jose capably handles the precision of labwork. Seemingly able to make the impossible possible. Jose’s boisterous laughter and success in the lab make him a productive collaborator. Since graduating from UTA, he has continued working in the Fujita Lab on the Aspidoscelis project. Using Aspidoscelis lizard samples, he has mastered a novel mitochondrial genome sequencing protocol (manuscript forthcoming!) from DNA isolation to crafting phylogenies. He is looking into graduate programs. If you are interested, send him an email.
