After taking a course with Dr. Fujita, Vicki enthusiastically recruited herself for lab work on the Aspidoscelis project. In this capacity, she and Jose have helped me sequence dozens of mitochondrial genomes for lizards using a yet-unpublished protocol. She also bakes incredibly delicious cupcakes. Since graduating from UTA she is now applying for pharmacy school.
